Slinger, WI – [March 11, 2025] – A fast-moving brush fire spread across 80 to 100 acres near W. Capitol Drive and Brookfield Road on March 9, fueled by strong 30 mph wind gusts. Fire crews worked for nearly four hours to contain the flames as the fire approached nearby homes and commercial properties.
Among the affected areas was a local automotive dealership, where several parked vehicles sustained burn damage. While no injuries were reported, the incident underscored the challenges of controlling brush fires under dry and windy conditions.
